Touring street performance, 2000
Two creatures sat quietly mirroring each others every move as they told their stories through dance. The audience was encouraged to take a poem that the creatures had written and illustrated and were performing.
The production was a street performance and toured the Edinburgh Street Fringe Festival, Streets of Brighton 2000 and the Bristol harbour Festival. Together with my co-director I ran all aspects of the touring production with responsibility for administration as well as working as visual artists, choreographer, make up artists and designer, costume designer and dancer/performer. The production was a great success at each festival, showing several times in locations from beautiful gardens to shopping centres to the middle of a road, attracting large audiences and some great press coverage.
